# Stowsmith > Stowsmith calculates how goods are best stowed: identical cartons on pallets (layer patterns, cartons per pallet, height and weight limits), products in totes and bins of any kind, and orders of mixed items in the fewest or cheapest shipping cartons, with cut-down carton heights. Every answer comes with a bound, so you can see when no better answer exists. It runs as a web app, batch CSV files, a command line tool, a Python package, and a Rust and WebAssembly library with JSON in and out. Stowsmith is a product of Diteva AB, a limited company registered in Sweden. Trials run on a sample of the customer's own data. Prices are not published on the site. Contact: hello@stowsmith.com. Every number on stowsmith.com is a real engine result or a published benchmark result. Examples: a 302 × 136 × 168 mm carton fits 212 per EUR pallet at 1 800 mm where the master data said 144; 1 500 articles are validated in 0.02 seconds; 35 cartons of 170 × 120 × 90 mm fit a 650 × 450 × 330 mm storage tote; of 2 000 sample orders, over 90 % are proven to use the fewest cartons possible. ## Product - [Stowsmith home page](https://stowsmith.com/): what it does, real examples, benchmarks, integrations and the trial form - [Home page as Markdown](https://stowsmith.com/index.md): the same content and figures as plain Markdown - [Use cases](https://stowsmith.com/#uses): the questions it answers, for pallets, totes and bins, orders and your own systems - [Pallets](https://stowsmith.com/#pallets): cartons per pallet, layer patterns, lowest pallet height, height sweeps; EUR, FIN, half, quarter, industrial, US and custom pallets - [Master data validation](https://stowsmith.com/#master-data): checks cartons per layer, layers and cartons per pallet (TI × HI) of a whole article range against the optimum; reads CSV exports straight from your ERP or WMS, with comma, semicolon or tab, and decimal point or comma - [Totes and bins](https://stowsmith.com/#totes): units per tote, bin or crate, for automated storage, shelf bins and returnable crates - [Orders into cartons](https://stowsmith.com/#orders): cartonization of mixed orders into the fewest or cheapest cartons, with weight limits, this-side-up, padding and cut-down heights - [Proof of optimality](https://stowsmith.com/#proof): bounds, and results on 196 645 pallet layer instances and the Martello, Pisinger & Vigo 3D bin packing benchmark - [Integrations](https://stowsmith.com/#integrate): web app, batch files, command line, Python, Rust and WebAssembly library - [Questions and answers](https://stowsmith.com/#faq): short answers with real examples ## Contact - [Trial request](https://stowsmith.com/#trial): a form for name, work email, company, phone (optional), what to try, range size and orders per day; submitting it sends the request to Stowsmith, which replies by email - [Email](mailto:hello@stowsmith.com): hello@stowsmith.com
